I've started compiling the paperwork for my Canada application and sent my documents off to WES for the equivalency ECA. As a welder, it includes an NVQ, city and Guilds and completed apprenticeship courses.
They came back with "completed a career training program", which I have been informed is worthless in terms of gaining points for the application.
I've been waiting almost four weeks now for any response from WES, surely I'm not the first welder applying? Any body had the same or any ideas?

WES Canada are incredibly slow at responding via e-mail (weeks). I gave in and called them in spite of their website saying an e-mail response is quicker and got through in 25 minutes. My e-mail was responded to the next day.
