Today at CTV:

"Many Canadians across the country are getting a bit of relief at the pumps Tuesday as gas prices fell by as much as nine cents a litre overnight."

I love a bit of relief at my pump.

Today at the BBC:

Well, go on, show me something what's as clumsily written as the stuff on the CTV site. Noting, of course, that the BBC has correspondents, CTV gets its material from wire services and it will have been written clearly when it reached them.

Well it doesn't happen every day!! But it does happen, particularly since they shed a load of back-room staff a while ago.

Strange.......

Its a pet.... granted it shouldn’t be shot, but then again its shouldn't have run off down the road chasing strangers either…..

Why do people request this barbaric punishment for injury to a domestic pet
When a request for that level of punishment for the murder of a human would make them seem medieval in their outlook
And the shooting of a wild animal for fun is considered a sport

People are just messed up

Yes, it could cause a seriously sore mild ankle bite. Or smother the unfortunate hunter in slobbery affection.

People are really messed up.

Which is the more disturbed individual

a man who shoots an innocent pet

or a man who thinks public hung, drawn and quartering is a suitable punishment

fledermaus is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Weird stuff

This is hard to write and still make it funny, imagine you are hearing it and cant see the spelling, that may work.

My SIL's brother rang home one evening to say he would be late as he had run over an old dear in the park.

His mum worried and waited up for him. Pretty horrified when she heard that everything was OK as she was old, so they shot her.

It was a while before she realised it was a deer, an old one, that was needed culling, so they shot it.

If that makes me "disturbed" then i dont give a ****

What would you say is a suitable punishment ? Maybe a slap on the wrist and a $10 fine
