Smile we got our PR cards today.....

the day has been very eventful......and such a good day, seeing as yesterday was pants......

job interview this morning! think i sold myself and i'd be very excited about getting this position, so fingers crossed....!

had a lovely hour or two after interview at english bay with my buddy....coffee and a sticky bun too......fab!

then, when it couoldn't get better, arrived home to find our PR cards in the post box........WHOOP WOOP.....it's done now; no more waiting, stress, waiting and more stress.........just the alotted 740 + days 'til citizenship.......

keep going all....you will get there.....x

Congrats to you, cant imagine how you are feeling, stress free i bet ................we are still waiting for our updated docs for fast tracking, which were sent almost 3 1/2 months ago, im sure like you said we weill get there but seems a long way off at the moment.

congrats on your progression towards stress free citizenry.

it seems that you are a few steps ahead of us.... as we are still languishing in the UK; fearful of quitting a paying life here to go out there.

was / is your period of unemployment as stressful as we think it might be? is there light at the end of the 'vancouver hiring freeze' tunnel?

personally, i could happily risk a leap into a life where only a coffee and a sticky bun offers consolation, whilst hoping to secure that most promising of interviews.... my better half however, is still enjoying the feeling of financial income and is less enthused by the idea of willingly becoming jobless, even if in Vancouver!

are we going about this in a wrong and overly cautious way?

It's 1095 days, at least, for citizenship. Unless you have time as a temporary resident which counts as 50%.
