we didn't realise that buying a house here would be so different from the UK, and that the estate agent would be so important - is that a common sentiment? When we got here she greeted us in our home, had two lovely candles and candlesticks on the mantelpiece and a welcome plate, a huge glass bowl full of fruit in our kitchen , basic supplies in the fridge and to top it all off she "apologised" for not getting replacing the caulking around the bath for us when she cleaned the house for us:eek: Above and beyond the call of duty eh? |
