It's certainly not cool, it's sacrilege. Stuff treated that way is called bread sticks, not baguettes. Shame on you.

I hear you. Don't forget dbd33 is a stickler for imperial. It'll be F.

And charcoal might be preferable to toasted bread sticks.

Pains, not baguettes. They might survive 24 hours.

Oh dear god I have to thank AmyDavid for this but it fit just right - if you type Ultrarunner in google this is what comes up.

Did you lend him a couple of baguettes?

375F as a matter of fact. And bread managed in this way is much better than the offerings from Ace or Premier Mossion and better than can be purchased locally. Better than one can get in France? Well no, but we're not in France, are we? We're in the land baking forgot.

Snigger. I wonder if it is a warm baguette - he looks happy with it, so I think it is.

Oooh, no wonder they keep his service secret! I'd never have taken him for a man's man.

F...C..... whatever the hell this bloody cooker operates at. You press the 'bake' button and stab at it until it says 350. Even mandymoochops could manage it.

As we are not in France, and not able to dally along to the nearest bakery for top notch bread, I fashion my own and....voila!... we happily eat them throughout the week. I can give you the recipe if you would like to try it for yourself.

That's very gracious of you, but an increasing fraction of the year (soon to be 100%) I am able to dally along to the nearest bakery (although I prefer the second nearest, an extra 40 m each way).

I'd have to put you on ignore. I do not want to have to look at that every time I read one of your posts.
