Stuff gets caught on that big spinny thing in the middle and is stretched to the point where it comes out a different shape. Especially cotton t-shirts or hoodies - it's happened to plenty of mine in the top loader we had when we lived downtown. |

My clothes don't talk very much while I'm listening at least. But do you think that labels which make a fuss over the difference between 30 & 40C are possibly sponsored and paid for by the manufacturers of expensive washing machines?
I still say it's not unreasonable. What's hot? 40C? 70C? 90C? Who decides? How do you know? |

The cold/cold, hot/cold, warm/warm etc is the settings for wash/rinse, so hot/cold is a hot wash with a cold rinse, warm/cold is a warm wash with cold rinse and so on.
Kenmore machines are made by whichever manufacturer is flavour of the month, my machines are Kenmore but made by Samsung, my range is a Kenmore Elite made by Electrolux. |

Mock all you like, but I prefer my measurements to be objective rather than subjective and if it makes t-shirts last a bit longer then I have to do less shopping. Less shopping is good. |
