Been in Canada a few years now and living in Wasaga Beach, Ontario.

There was a currency trader who posted here who lived in Wasaga. I lost interest in his story when he bought a Cadillac estate car, I mean how could you? cneldred or similar was the name.

Lakes Erie and Huron (which I live near) are both meh, and i've been "up north" in the kawarthas, and while I wouldn't call them as smelly or dirty as the former, they're definitely cold.

Seconded. The water at Georgian Bay (Awenda PP) was wonderful last year, and even Lake Ontario at Bluffers park is warm in summer. I'm always amazed how clean the lakes are. But I've never been to Wasaga.

Very near to Bluffers Park, we used to sail around something called the "shit stick" or, more formally, the Sewage Outlet Marker Buoy. I was always amazed how clean the swimmers thought the water to be. I expect they're dead now.
