Hi everybody,
I would appreciate if anyone of you can clarify my doubts about my Case . I had applied my immigration in Hong Kong , as i moved to US last year on H1b , i got my case transferred from Hong Kong to Buffalo in sep-2002 . I recieved a letter from HK that my case has been transferred to Buffalo and all correspondance will be done from there . Its been almost 6 months , neither did i recieve any document from Buffalo nor did i recieve my file no .
My earlier file no is no long valid ( When i try to check my status online) . My doubts are :
1) As i moved my case after july-2002( THough filed before that at HK) , will my case be considered under new point system.
2) Is it a normal delay for 6 months without file no.
3) I tried last month to contact Buffalo office , faxed them documents and request letter , but no response . Is it normal .
4) What should me my next step ..sit and wait or do something ..if do something then what ?
