Waiting............for 2 o'clock!
#16
Hi all thanks so much for the good wishes.
Got our passports back with the shiny new Visa's in, they look real bootiful! But not for long!
Valid to March 2008 - some how I don't think they'll last that long.
Started to queue at about 1pm (sad I know - but I was number six), and guess what Steve, it started to rain in the big smoke too! As it got heavier out came the old kagoul - new it would come in handy one day.
I spent more time checking the Visa's and paperwork than it did to get through the security.
When I eventually got out of CHC it was persistently raining - quite heavy an all! But I just kept smiling all the way back to Victoria singing to myself "It's a beautiful day".
Bus was about three quarters of an hour late getting into the Toon - but who cares!
Good luck to everyone waiting, it is soooo worth it!
Cheers

I knew you'd got the Visa 'cos the sun came out as your bus went past us! Or was it your cheesey grin?
Well done you lucky devil. May all your landings be happy ones!
Staying cool.

Yeah started to rain. I was number 1 in quee so you probably saw me if you was number 6 in quee.. They let a bunch wait inside of doors and think they bought some umbrellas out for people that needed it.

I had my meds in december and got ppr 5months later. So I dont think its that fast. Heard some people get ppr within 3 months. I guess everyones timeline difers depending on many factors including bit of luck. As long as we all get it in end hopefully. Goodluck

What I meant was 5 months ain't no time at all when one has been waiting 2 years, and others a great deal longer. You didn't say in your reply, but I presume it is by way of AEO or PNP hence the speed. And let's be honest, it is extremely fast by anyone's yardstick.

Hhmmm, but i think he meant he waited 5 months from sending in his med results to getting the PPR?
In which case i agree with him, 5 months seems long , in fact cruel and unusual. I got my PPR just 1 month after med results went in.

Yeah that what I meant. Robski is correct. From Meds to PPR I was talking about. That is not whole process. I am 100% certian no one waits 2 years from meds to ppr. So think you got a little confused there. Also yes my whole process was faster becuase I asked for fast track as I have a job out there. mY job here I ended in January so for me 5months waiting for ppr stage is very long time. I took a risk in not working as hoped for PPR. Luckily I have VISA now which is great and can now plan to go there and start my job. Goodluck with your wait for ppr.
