Default Are Vulcans British?

Just watching Start Trek Enterprise.

Vulcans are critical, arrogant, know-it-alls.

Brits are allegedly considered critical, arrogant, know-it-alls.

Discuss ....

Well, I take exception with the premise as I have many years of experience, have studied British attitudes in some depth and consider myself something of a leading authority on Star Trek as well.

Vulcan Mindmeld vs Glasgow Kiss ... hmmm, fascinating

We don't all have wierd eyebrows and pointy ears, so it would be illogical to presume we were Vulcan.

Star Trek Enterprise.

Nae Good. Give us Star Trek Voyager anyday !!!!!

Voyager is the best. WHY you might ask !!!

Seven of Nine, that why, now theres a logical thinking mind !!!!!!

She is arrogant, very critical, a great forward thinker, and she does know it all, as do all the Borg.

On Vulcan, it's known as the Ceremony of "U'ngle H'uey A'argh".

Vulcan is a small town between Calgary and Lethbridge ... it does actually have its own starship.

I know we used to have some Vulcans based at some of the airbases here in Lincolnshire - but no idea of which planet, Country or other place they came from.

They could be a special breed of IT person - I often find techies very similar to vulcans but not seen any with pointed ears - unless they have cosmetic surgery to blend in.

I'd say, as sci-fi characters go, Brits are Vorlons.
Aloof, arrogant know it all's; Who never tell anyone anything, keep themselves to themselves and expect everyone else to accept them and their decisions without question.

Or, on a weekend, Klingons.

Sorry, couldn't resist it.

I am so, so tempted. Last used in May 1982 at Port Stanley.

I wonder if having your own nuclear capable bomber would go for or against you?
