Hi,
We are flying to Canada on 22nd October for our two week recce trip, OH would like to visit Chicago for 2-3 days as there is a large convention on that is worth him visiting, (networking, job hunting).
OH going alone, we have return tickets to the UK, have done the Visa Waiver Wizard on the US Embassey site.
I have concluded that OH is eligable under the Visa Waiver Programm, he would have to fill in I-94W (off airline) and pay 6 US Dollars.
Am I correct?????

When he leaves the U.S. he needs to turn the I94W back to the airline. They don't always ask for it on Canada bound flights.

Yes WOW, we are all so excited (think I'm the worst!), 14 more sleeps until Canada!!!!!
At the horrible stage where everything is done, apart from the packing.
Tempted to start that, as I am working most nights before we go, but that would mean no one would have any clothes to wear for the next two weeks.

Got flight bags sorted for the children with the lots of bits to do, so hopefully they'll be ok. Chris has found a convention to go to in Chicago, so he's off there for a couple of days, networking and job hunting.
As such long list of plans (yet, start that later
), wanted to have a look and to try to get the feel of Canada. We have arranged to visit a school, it wont be the one the children would go to, but we thought it would give them and idea....They are looking forward to celebrating Halloween in Canada, their dentist isn't.....
Thought we would look around the areas we fancied, maybe some houses, go and do some shopping. The problem with those is that the job determines where we would live, so it would be fab if we found Chris a job, but thats probably slightly too much to hope for.
