My husband & I will be visiting the London/St Thomas area at the end of April 04.
Ideally we want to use this visit to look a the areas around London i.e. Grand Bend down to Port Stanley to see where we would like to settle once PR approved.
Would love to be able to meet up with a real estate/estate agent to discuss property and what we can afford, best places to live etc. To be able to look around a couple of properties would be ideal.
Does anyone know anyone we could contact regarding this, perhaps a personal recommendation?
Whilst there we will also be looking at other aspect of settlement such as employment opportunities, transport etc.
Any help with any of this would be really appreciated.
many thanks
Jane

hi jane, i would be happy to refer a real estate salesperson(s) who specialises in re-locations in the london/st thomas/grand bend areas.
[email protected]
i moved to the greater toronto area 3 years ago in april from blackpool, and know first hand how important it is that you get an agent that knows the area you wish to live.

Jane ,
Be sure to have an estate agent that is referred to you by ex-pats who understand the complexies of moving oversees. We went through the experience without any contacts even like this website. We relied on her and to be honest, she was not in our corner really. Experience has taught us, to deal with a referred Estate Agent if possible.
Someone who will look out for you.
