Visiting Alberta
#1
Hi, me and my partner are planning a visit to Alberta in July. We are planning to visit various places with a view to eventually settling down once we receive our residency visa. The places we are going to visit are Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer. We feel we have sufficient info on Edmonton and Calgary but know very little about Red Deer. Could anyone give us their views on Red Deer and its suitability as a place to emigrate to, in terms of employment, schools, crime rates etc?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

As JC said WE LOVE RED DEER!!! You can PM me too for my thoughts. Well basically the other morning I woke up, loked out of the window at the blue skies and announce 'Another Day in PARADISE' Then got organised for work. OK, not everyones idea of paradise but it sure does beat living and working in UK!

When can you start?
Seriousley there are more jobs than people, everywhere is desperate for staff. I work in HR at Sears, if someone comes in for a application, we get them to fill it in, interview them and get them started.....before they go somewhere else and they do the same

If you're coming to Calgary between 7th and 16th July, I hope you have your accomodation sorted - I doubt you'll be able to find anywhere otherwise.
