Hello! I'm new here...my name is Beth I moved here on PR in September! I'm living in Edmonton at the minute and loving it, so hopefully they'll let me stay forever
I've been having trouble finding a nice substitute for good old vimto...I've tried the water enhancers (which just taste like chemicals) and syrups but it's just not the same. And with Brit Foods on Gateway closing I'm worried I won't be able to get my vimto fix for much longer! Can anyone recommend any other stores that stock the purple stuff in edmonton? Or, alternatively, a good online retailer for British foods? I have seen a few, but don't know anyone who has used them to get their opinion...

Try looking in the asian stores. Vimto cordial is a top seller in the moslem world.

I've ordered from here before with no hassles...though not Vimto i'll admit.
Definitely Irn-Bru though

The Brit food shop just off Whyte Ave will order stuff in for you if you ask, next time he places an order, you need to prepay.
