Hi,

I have Recently recived a letter from Canadian Immg that the

fingerprints I submitted with the No criminal record certificate from

CJIS is not valid and want them from FBI. I actually contacted the

local police station and asked them that I want clearance cetificate

for canadian Immgration a nd they gave me the address for

fingerprinting and they directed me to send it to CJIS, P O Box 32708,

Pikesville, MD 21282-2708 and accordingly I got a no criminal record

certificate from them. But after the period of one and half year I am

told that this certificate is not accepted and the finger prints have

to be posted to FBI , CJIS, Atten SCU, Mod D-2, 1000 Cluster Hallow rd,

Clarkburg, West Virginia 26306. Now they had asked me to submit the No

criminal record certificate within 2 months. Can Anyone with this kind

of experince or knowleadge help me URGENTLY on the following

questions??

1) I am in India currently, so how do I go about?? Can I take

fingerprints in India and send it to FBI on the above address. Will

they accept the fingerprints done in India??
2) Even if they do?? After I send it to FBI it will take minimum 4-6

weeks for them to send me back the certificate so how can I send them

within 2 months.
3) Can someone suggest a easy way out?? I am not going back to US till

next few months atleast. What shall I do??
