Default Vancouver Ski Show

So whilst I am tucked up in bed with man-flu Mr L2S is at the Vancouver Ski Show at BC Place with some friends.

Grouse are offering one night a week passes for just $99 - and you can choose which night it is each week, unlike some of the other local hills that make you choose one night eg Wednesday.

Also, my old favourite, SnowBus.ca for getting to Whistler is there offering discounts.

The friends who are staying are here to buy skiies seeing as it their first season lliving out here, so poor Mr L2S has been phoning me every 2 mins asking for advice for validating what the sales people are saying - try "phone a friend" style.

It does sound like there are some really good offers on there for skies - both new and second hand, but not so much for clothing. (New, 2005 Dynastar Exclusive 8's for Ladies $300 including bindings).

For Grouse the best thing to do is wait until end February - early March and buy the lift passes for the rest of the season/all of next season.

So an Adult pass in March was $250 !!

It is a good deal very much aimed at us locals

Oh, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
