Default Vancouver courier

Can anyone recommend a not too expensive courier in the Greater Vancouver area who'll pick up a letter and post it back to the UK?

I made the mistake of giving a friend's address to CIC to deliver my PR card. It arrived but now she "can't find the time" to go to the post office to send it.

I found pxcourier.com who appear to only do deliveries in the Van area.

TIA,

Stu

Where in Vancouver is your friend? If they are in the Downtown area I would be happy to pick up the card and mail it to you. I don't know of any "inexpensive" couriers unfortunately....

There are some kind people on this forum

She lives in Langley so about a 45 minute drive (when the traffic on Highway 1 is light) outside of downtown. A little too far for you. I guess it depends on what is expensive but the longer she keeps it the more worried I am that it'll get lost

Some friend if she can't be bothered to go to the post office hmm? Someone like Fedex would pick up directly (assuming she can be bothered to be in when they come round of course.) Not cheap but traceable and after all it is your PR card! http://www.fedex.com/ca_english/

I use the term "friend" in the lightest possible sense of course. It's a question of priorities and I don't seem to appear anywhere near the top. Sad but true. I hope someone pays her the same favour. Thanks for the link.

My company uses DHL - http://www.dhl.ca/ratetariff/
It would probably cost about $20 for them to pick up the envelope and take it to the post office. They will send it out to the UK, but I think that would be pretty pricey...Good luck!

Why bother? You dont need it to travel back to canada anyway as long as you have a passport from a visa waiver country and the original ROLF form.
