Yes, gravel is common, though some major routes are swept - Sun Peaks road, the old Merritt Highway (Kamloops to Merritt), Spence's Bridge Road too, all great biking roads. It's rare they're done much before June though.

I pay $3200 a year, $5m liability, collision and comp, with my 43% discount. That would make it $5600 a year without discount.

I assume that's year round cover, not just seasonal. You've the same coverage and discount as I take - lower mainland premiums are much higher than here.

Carpenters are not regulated in every Province, only in Quebec.

Carpenters (NOC 7271-B) - Thompson--Okanagan Region, British Columbia - education and job requirements (national) - Job Bank

It's year round. I use Intact for comp and of course those other thieving gits for the rest. The brand as well as the displacement affect premium unfortunately and ICBC don't recognise any value in advanced training. They say there is no data to support less risk with a trained driver, it could of course have something to do with no studies being done.

The Crows Nest was awful for rocks all last season, it seems the collect mostly on corners of course and in the track one wants to ride.
