I have returned to India but I had applied at canadian consulate at Buffalo for immigration in August 2001
I have already submitted my FBI clearence,my US employer's
appointment letter.I already have a Bank account in US
containing the required funding to go as a landed immigrant in canada.I already have myself fingerprnted
again for state clearence and which will be mailed from US
if asked.
But now Since am in India for good,Can you tell me what additional documents I have to submit, which may be required from USA only and which require my physical presence?

If you are called for an Interview in USA you will need US Visa from India and you should have all orignal degree certificates, any Educational evaluation done in US if you have one, Recent Bank Statement (from US or India), Marriage certificate if you are married, all orignal work expererience certificates, Orignal Passport.
Good Luck!!

Hi:
Once you have been in India for more than 6 months you will be requested to provide
an updated police clearance certificate from India. Make sure that you advise the
Canadian Consulate that your address has changed.
Yours truly, Ingrid Y. Chen, B.A., LL.B.

The only possibility that may require your presence in the USA would be a selection
interview, if one is required. All other aspects of the process can generally be
handled by correspondence.

She is not a lawyer.
She has been suspended from the practice of law.
If she claims that she can practice law, then that is further misrepresentation.
In addition, this could be an unauthorized practice of law.
Plus she was charged with drug trafficking.
This is all public domain information.

Hi
I do not & can not understand how you will manage everything from India. It is your duty & responsibility to inform any new address changes to the Buffalo Consulate.
I do not know when you have applied & what is the current status of your application. Even if you can handle everything, after Assessment of your application, usually they ask you FBI fingerprints, Your current VISA status, latest W2, Current Employer Letter & Current paystub & I-94 for final confirmation that you have not left the country. How will you be able to provide the documents.
The best thing would be to provide your current status & address for updation of your records.
Hope this helps you.

Raghu, He has applied from USA and now he is in India.
I see a Problem becase once his PR is granted a letter from Buffalo will me mailed to his USA address to Submit his Passport for Stamping of Canada Pr Visa ( new Law) at that time he should be in USA and send his Passport to Buffalo for Stamping.
From India he can NOT send his passport to Buffalo as Passport can not be sent by mail out of country. If he has Visitor Visa for USA and can come to US then I dont see any problem.
