they are basic, but not too bad. ryerson is about the same, and last time i checked, a little cheaper (though this was a while ago)

Do you know which residence in particular you're asking about?

I toured the Victoria College residences at U of T during a visit there with my daughter a couple of months ago. They all looked fine to me although there are other colleges in the U of T system with their own residences.

We also saw U of T's Chestnut Residence. It's a converted hotel and very nice.
