I'm still in my teens and I could really see myself living in Canada in the future. What sort've jobs are there out there that pay quite well etc?
Is it really hard to get a job in IT as i was considering do a Computer Science degree when i go uni. what about surveying/investment or something in finance?
Any help would be gratefulll...im just curious.

You tell 'em Eddie ! I kinda hope that rickz is a guy - you never know - but then maybe your advice could go to a young lady too !
In the meantime, vaguely sensible answer coming up. If this is a serious consideration, then perhaps look at somehow doing your degree here? I suspect it may then be easier to find work in the long run, with your instantly recognised qualifications and your Canadian experience of life here already ? Maybe ?
However, at your age, I'm thinking Eddie's advice is not far off the mark

How about a gap year before university with arranged employment through BUNAC or similar to try it out... there are always tons of UK, Aussie and Kiwi students working the ski resorts out west. And even if you do an IT or similar degree in UK (remember doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants, teachers, engineers and so on also find lucrative employment all around the world)... you can use your long vacations to find out what and where you like best with a view to doing a postgraduate degree in Canada, or networking with future employers to get a job offer once you graduate.
