hi everyone my wife is a special needs auxilary for disabled children she has many qualifications but they are svq certs she is employed by the local council here in scotland.
if she was to carry on this work in canada would she need to do all the courses again to gain the same qualifications to work in canada she has now, as she wants to become a social worker in the future, also one of my chidren has a hearing impairment can somebody help...thanks

Your child's condition may or may not be a bar to immigration to Canada.
Your research should include:

And if your wife's work is regulated, the relevant province/territory association.

There's a member of this forum who came to Canada, I believe, about 4 years ago. She has since received a cochlear implant, so it appears her hearing impairment was not an impediment.
