Seriously doubt it ever will be. There are no shortage of pilots and young guys with no ties willing to fly for next to nothing, work the ramp or fill spray tanks to get a seat up front.

Commercial aviation is pretty cyclical and it is a sure hard way to not earn much for many.

Couldn't agree with you more there, but we have been incredibly lucky as his company is fantastic to work for and he's still got a job at the end of what was 18 very dodgey months for Canadian aviation.........bird in the hand all that.
