Question UK passport in Ontario

Hey folks,

Been in Canada now for 18 months and loving every minute (even the snow!!).
Anyway, I've trawled the forums and can't find the answer to my question.

How do I go about renewing our UK passports from here in Ontario?

I'm expecting the application goes to Ottawa or something but no idea what to do or how to get it there. Ony thing I can find on the internet are application 'kits' costing upwards of 30 bucks!! Surely that's not the only way?!?

Any help and advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This question was dealt with on a previous thread not long ago. Apparently now all passports for renewal etc have to go through British High Commission or Embassy in Washington DC. A fairly new thing, it used to be Ottawa but it's all been centralised.

If you can't find the thread in the search I'm sure somebody will come along and give you more info.

Got this for you from an earlier thread about passports.
It should have all the info you need about renewing your passport. It is now Washington that you send your renewal too.

Ask the British Government to explain. They set it up.

That's great thanks. Just what I needed (some clarification).
BritishExpats comes to the rescue yet again.

Cheers.
