Have a few handsets that seem to have lots of features that I have not seen on Canadian models. Also the UK dect phones seem to be so far ahead of what you can get in Canada.

My questions is can I use them in Canada?

Would caller ID work?

I assume I may need to get an adaptor for power and phone connection to plug them in, anyone taken dect phones over?

The function of the phones clearly depends upon where you live. The search function however depends upon the ability of the user.

How fortunate were all are that we gave experts like you who can do this for lesser mortals. The person who said you didn't offer anything constructive to BE should wash their mouth out.

Whether they'll work or not I can't say but you can buy new ones here if you have to.

Costco has Sanyo DECT 6.0 units in black and white versions on their website and a Uniden model with three handsets plus answering machine instore for I think $99.
