Default UK to Canada......help please.

After getting passport request i`m now thinking of things `to do`. Can anyone who has already landed tell me what they were advised regarding National insurance contributions etc. Can i still keep paying in, or have to stop when i leave the UK? Amidst all the planning , this, and other details have been neglected. Any help would be appreciated......billy

Hello there,

Congratulations on your approval, i saw the GOT IT you posted in the immigration forum. Well...the answer to your question is on the foreign office website or the INLAND REVENUE. I came across it whilst trying to get a copy of my contributions in the UK when i first moved over here.

Try looking at both sites, but i think the latter is the one with more explanations.

cheers

Billy,

Nice to hear your good news, hope that everything goes well for you and yours in the 'big move' and that everything that's supposed to end up there with you, gets there, and that you settle well and quickly.

Good luck and hoping it all works out for you.

Rich.
