Default Is it true Mr Miller, experts??

Is it true that if some one receives only medical papers from Buffalo Office, it automatically means that he DID NOT receive an interview waiver. In other words if he gets only the medicals from the canadian high commission and no other letter it means thst the next letter which may come any time in 8-10 months will be when the interview will be held.

Realistic,

If you have been asked to do your medicals, in most probability interview was waived for you since they would not instruct for getting medicals done so early on in case of an interview as it is valid only for a year.

You may however, wait for responses from other more knowledgeable people on the Forum in this regard.

No, it doesn't mean anything like that. Please read the letter accompanying medical
forms - if it asks to do medical within rather short time (like 90 days) then
interview has been waived, but if it says not to do medicals until interview date is
actually scheduled then interview obviously is not waived.

Dear Mr. Miller,

What if it is within 4 months? I mean, can I take it as a "rather short time" as you
put it in your earlier post? Is it still a chance/sign for a waiver?

Thanks in advance for giving your thoughts.

I hate hypothetical questions - just tell us what exactly is in the letter
accompanying your medical forms and then I or someone else can tell you what it may
or may not mean.

Dear Mr. Miller,

I appreciate your time and your postings. The reason I asked my question that way was
that my status was very similar to the original poster and I did not want to take
more of your time. The only differece was that they had given me 4 months to undergo
my medicals.

My status is like this:

o Applied (unmarried) and received file no. in January 2000. o Received waiver letter
in March 2001 and was asked to do medicals (received medical papers). o Added spouse
to the application in April 2001 and *** DID NOT *** do medicals. o Was asked for
more docs, eg. police clearance again, etc some months later. I did as required
around Feb. 2002. o Received medical papers for both in April 2002 asking for do the
medicals *** within 4 months ***. Done in late March 2002.

Now my question: Is it still likely that my application is subject to waiver even
though it was not mentioned in the letter accompanying the medical papers (which is
the last letter I have received)?

Thanks again for your advice.

Yes, it seems that your interview remains to be waived at this time.
