Seems low but no idea if it is the industry norm. Keeping a family on that as a sole income would be grim.

no being funny but most that come to MB. get around 50k ish ,on their contract lmo paperwork.
and a 12month contract no way tell them 24mnth.min.as by the time you do tests etc thats a month gone.
fair enough i heard the wages were low in the east but!!
got to say the reputation of certain D&R drivers is not good.
but only you can decide if its worth the risk.

"In New Brunswick, for a family of two adults and two children, this combined poverty line corresponds roughly to an annual income of $24,300 in rural areas, $23,900 in the capital, Fredericton, and $22,900 in Moncton."

Understand that legal poverty in Canada is Angela's Ashes poverty. You'd have to be coming from somewhere really desperate for this offer to be a runner.

Been a truck driver in Alberta for over 5 years and earned between $60K - $73K a year.
$30K must be a part time job.

There's a huge demand for qualified tractor trailer drivers in the general area of South Western Ontario of which Woodstock is part; mostly for drivers to the States. The salary range varies, but if you can afford to buy a truck and work as an owner/operator you should be well into six figures.

Even in the maritimes that is poor as the main wage. I wouldn't have left the UK for that.
