Smile trip to canada

Hello ,it has been a while since ive been on the site ,due to things happening etc. so once again looking for some info , if possible .
I have flights booked for me ,my partner and our two children, for this october flying in to vancouver and then 13 days later flying out of toronto to manchester. obviously we have some internal travelling , which we havent sorted as yet ,as i need to visit a friend in ancaster , ontario , on our way to toronto. So basically were landing in vancouver airport at midday and we need to know hotels , transfers , general info that a family of four would need, etc, we want to see vancouver and probably take an internal flight to hamilton maybe a week or so later, will then stay at friends for a couple of days , .
This will be my second trip to canada this year, but first with small children ,i went to fernie bc , in january ,to ski with a few friends .i do hope to live there eventually , . my partner needs to see canada as you would, please can any one give us advice on vancouver etc , or just any thing helpful that may save us valuable time, thankyou ,regards , guy (lucas).

Hi Lucas,

Just wanted to say have a great trip with your family - it will soon come round.

When we were over last year we went to Fernie for a couple of days - Fort Macleod, AB where we're heading for is just over an hour away.

We really liked Fernie, must be great to go skiing there, can understand why you'd like to move there - what sort of line of work were you looking for there as this maybe useful to you http://www.cotr.bc.ca/JSFernie/jobboard_sort.asp

All the best,

Arris

Westjet for your Vancouver-Hamilton flight. Edit: oh, I thought they went direct? Seems the "direct" flight stops in Edmonton or Calgary first.
