Default Travel insurance

Ok guys and gals,my father is 68 and would like to come visit us again next year as we are expecting a child in October this year.
He came over for 6 weeks this year as the only travel insurance that he could get would only cover him for 6 weeks, obviously when you only have 3 grandkids and they live in Canada you want a bit more time than that!

Does anyone know of a decent travel insurance company that doesn't charge extortionate rates for pensioners if he wanted to come for say 3-5 months?

Thanks for any info!

I used these guys, it was cheapest for me for long stay, I have no outstanding health issues tho, and I'm not 68

Compare Travel Insurance For Over 65s - MoneySuperMarket - select similar dates for this year (it won't let you do it that far ahead) and uncheck all the 'selected partners' - there is no need to put in an email address either. Quotes for 3 months ( with no existing illness) started at £158
