Train trip toronto to Chicago
hey has anyone travelled by train to states whilst on a work permit? where does the border / passport check happen?? I want to go on a weekend trip with kids to Chicago from Union station Toronto

I've done Toronto to New York a couple of times by train and the border crossing is indeed a nightmare. It can take 2 hours to get through it. Flying is definitely quicker but, when I went at least, the train was quite a bit cheaper.
