Maybe I should point out.....
Toronto is the centre of the Known Canadian universe
Calgary is a sh*ty suburb kept at an appropriate distance
Calgary also is in the middle of a barren frozen wasteland (prairies) not fit for habitation for at least 6mths of the year

It looks a bit like Calgary, only it's bigger and the men dressed as cowboys admit to being gay.

GTA (Toronto) is a big, grey, dirty conglomeration of area codes, joined by packed and jammed tracts of concrete highway 12 lanes wide, that takes hours to commute from flat, drab, boring suburbs.
Drive into Toronto on a work day and as you descend into the city you see a dirty streak of brown sludge against the horizon - that's the air in Toronto.
Sure there's some interesting older neighbourhoods, but they are inhabited by dubious types, and they have rats.
Plus Toronto has no, and I mean "NO," sports teams.
Raptors......, Who?
Leafs........., Who?
Blue Jays...., Who?
Argos........, Who?
Calgary - world class fly fishing IN THE RIVER THAT GOES THROUGH THE CITY!!!!
Calgary - clean, new, with the mountains in hte background.
Calgary - Great for bird life - You will see Pelicans, Ospreys and Bald Eagles a plenty.
Calgary - great neighbourhoods - with lakes or water parks for kids.
House prices are cheaper, we pay less taxes, drive a shorter commute to work, pay less for gas (petrol) and can be out of the city in 20 minutes.
If you want to move to a city with al the charms of Toronto, without emigrating move to Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.

There.... that should get the thread moving!!!!
