I would have to agree.
With such popular events, fire regulations are obviously an issue.
I seem to remember reading in the newspaper last year, following the manchester mardi-gras, that many of the bars had to lock their doors due to the crowds. It was reported that there was a bit of a disturbance when a group of young men were seen banging on the same back door one after another.

Got an orientation Session tonight downtown, I presume to find out what positions they are going to want me in over the weekend. Apparently there is a meet a greet party afterwards somewhere but might have to give that a miss.

I'll let you all know how it went after the weekend
