Landing in rain, possibly struck by lightning..... skidded off runway.... nearly hit 401 and went into a ravine. Full fuel load, didn't dump, didn't anticipate crash.... looks like brake failure.

The site is being slammed, but there is live audio.

All planes grounded, 401 being evacuated.... probably a downdraft or sidewind in an extreme thunderstorm with lightning -- Flight 358 from Paris to Toronto -- capacity 252 passengers -- rain coming down sideways according to witnesses.

Pray that this is correct.
Sky News just said that there unconfirmed reports that a local radio station is reporting a lot of survivors.

Just heard the same news on CNN - let's hope that the report is correct!

Those poor families back in france.....I wonder if they even realize it's happened with the time difference?
