I want to take my mum there in the summer, but how the heck do you get around if you can't walk far?

Ah thanks, the tram looks a good idea. She'd hate the wheelchair, she can walk fine just not too far.
There's a boat trip too if she can get in the boat!

The islands are now on our itinerary for Toronto. Think I might have to add a few days in SO.

I think everywhere in Canada looks as if you're stepping back in time. Not so quaint though.

Should have been #1 on your list! It's my favourite place in Toronto at all times of the year. I love walking from one end to the other. The views of the city and the lake are spectacular.

I know, eh? I was only looking at the usual tourist traps like the tower and St Lawrence Market. We have Jays tickets for a Monday night game so a day on the island before sounds like the go.

I know about the buggered knee. Currently booked for meniscectomy the week we get back to Australia. I'm hoping that the cortisone injection lasts for the duration of my holiday.
