We're moving to Toronto in a couple of months and I'm looking at Internet Service Providers.. They're all either really expensive or really bad. Any suggestions?

See this link for opinions on providers in Canada. Not all available in Toronto.
Do you like cheese by any chance or Robinsons squash or Bisto?

I've been in Nova Scotia for a year, so I'm used to cheese, Robinsons and Bisto prices, as for car insurance in Toronto, I won't have a car so that's no problem

You may find the costs cheaper than here in NS. I have heard that my cell phone package - the same one, same provider in Toronto is $10 a month cheaper before taxes get involved.
Fingers crossed you get some more usefull information soon that has nothing to do with food.

I have Rogers cable and it seems to work pretty well, but then it doesn't satisfy your cheapness criteria. I started off trying to get Teksavvy - who are allegedly good and cheap - but, after spending more than an hour on-hold waiting for them to pick up the sales line (doesn't bode very well for the customer service later on...) I gave up.

Teksavvy.
I use Telus, but that's 100mb down, 10mb up and unlimited bandwidth for $65 a month, but it's exclusive to people residing in the CityPlace neighbourhood.

Techsavvy.
200gb monthly dowload limit (they also offer unlimited)
Dry loop DSL (no landline)
Wide pipe, excellent customer service - always speak to a real and a helpful person.
Cost iro $40 per month. not priceless, but excellent value. I am a very happy customer....

Bell and Rogers both offer internet connectivity, and if you happen to get TV, Home Phone, Cell Phone, and whatever else they offer, then you do get a discount.
Teksavvy, as mentioned by others is pretty good. I'm with MyCybernet (part of Switchworks) and they have been very good to me for the past six years
