And yes by the way - TORONTO is not the centre of the UNIVERSE PEOPLE[/QUOTE]

Thats what the people on the west coast have been saying for a very long time! ;)

I just saw Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa since I am in Canada(august) and it is true Toronto lacks something there is in Montreal regarding quality of life.
People in Montreal are complaining and saying Montreal sucks when they compare themselves to Toronto (yet they hate Toronto). Everybody, everywhere is just whining (like in France where people are so desesperate it gets funny)

Your turn:

why the rude reply, and why do you think the post was rubbish?

To everyone else. Why all the aggression towards the poster? They're simply putting forward their point of view based on their observations of 19 years of living in that city. What exactly is the problem?

You've lost me.

Why do people in Montreal complain about Toronto? Is it wages/ employment, price of houses?

If as you say the quality of life is better then what is there to complain about.

Regarding France, from my experiences the French are a lot more content and happy with life than the British.

Oh dear. That was intended as a stab at the quality of writing in Canadian publications. CMtoronto2dubai's posting is indeed very rubbish, innit ?

WOW I see that with my true postings I have created such a touchy feeling for all you people out there. Don't you worry. Your Canada is still a wonderful nation to be discovered, just not TORONTO. That's all.
And with all these bashings from your side, it seems very typical of a TORONTONIAN to be bashing others. That is just the normal way.
Toronto bashing ottawa
toronto bashing montreal
toronto bashing province of quebec
toronto bashing United States
toronto bashing United States beacuse of their city's gun control.

It's just a typical TORONTO thing. TO bash. and obviously Once again you have proven with your replies.
Enjoy you city, and your centre of the Universe. But please do not emberass yourselves by comparing your city to New York,Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal and Londons. Toronto does not even come close to those cities.

Yep, its much cheaper than most of those

I dont live in Toronto, and wouldnt want to, but what you are expressing is just an opinion. its neither right or wrong, so try and keep things in perspective. Your comments about weekly riots in england certainly exposed a level of ignorance about the way things are there.

I hope you find what you are looking for in Dubai. We get the message, you dont like Toronto. That doesnt mean that everyone will agree, and plenty of other studies have rated Toronto pretty well.

From a write who posted in regards to Toronto, expressed that there is Riots in Birmingham. Don't get me wrong, I do like Toronto, but not what Toronto is turning out to be. That is why I did mention, that it was once a great city.
But hey who am I, all you need to do is read the articles in latest magazines about the city's cost of living, and cost of going business and the city's living standard.
that's all I said. Nothing to bash England. Trust ME

I don't much care for Toronto, I find it's very much like Chicago or Omaha or Oklahoma City, that is, there's nothing really remarkable about it. Still, I don't think it's changed very much in the past ten years or so. What would you say is different ?

Actually you can do that with your eyes, "Mary, mother a God, I don't want to read this" you could mutter to yourself and stop. There's no real need to tell us you've stopped.

I assume that since you don't live in Toronto you can't really say how it is has changed for the worse, still it's a talkboard, if you have some uninformed speculations please, bring them on.
