Top 10 Canadian Cities
Though some of you might find this interesting
Ottawa (Ontario)
Halifax (Nova Scotia)
Québec city (Québec)
Guelph (Ontario)
Fredericton (New Brunswick)
Kingston (Ontario)
Moncton (New Brunswick)
London (Ontario)
Victoria (British Columbia)
Gander (Newfoundland)
From the list above, Ontario has 4 cities. Alberta, the richest province in Canada didn’t show any cities at all (based on the top 10). Calgary is the first city from Alberta but ranked 28. And why this happened?
Money is not everything. Calgary has the biggest average family income ($104,200) compared with Ottawa ($83,300) and is the fastest in population growth (Calgary 13.4% against Ottawa with 5.9%).
Looks like that if you’re planning to live in Calgary you could easily find a job (3.7% unemployed rate), but the cost of life there is more expensive. As an immigrant in Canada you should look for these elements and also consider taxes in Canada, transit in Canada, health in Canada, weather in Canada, jobs in Canada, etc.

Re: Top 10 Canadian Cities
Please provide context. Top 10 for sunshine, cost of living, availability of decent cheese? It's a rather meaningless list otherwise.

Re: Top 10 Canadian Cities
Well assuming it's something along the lines of top 10 cities to live in, I wonder at the inclusion of Gander, Nfld. It's a perfectly pleasant place I'm sure, but quite what one would do for employment is a wonder.

Guard the runway. Be ready to advise of an invading force landing on it.

Re: Top 10 Canadian Cities
Invading forces these days tend to be transatlantic flights being diverted because of either a medical emergency or some unruly passenger who needs to be offloaded. Gander is favourite for this, but I did get amusement some while ago reading the story about the German Super(ish)model who kicked a fuss up on a transatlantic flight and ended up getting offloaded at Happy Valley Goose Bay. In February. The picture on the CBC news website was 'WTF' personified.

Presumably this is the "Canadian Living/ Moneysense" list that comes out every year.
