Default TIPS FOR EMPLOYMENT.

Hi guys wondering if any of you folks out there could help,I am in the process of trying to secure employment as I need an lmo to move out,I am not looking for job offers here(although that would be fantastic haha) but more if any of you would be able to pass on any tips on how to approach canadian employers,I have been e-mailing available jobs my c.v and covering letter and just a short introduction about being interested in the job and my situation,is this the done thing there or am I approaching this all wrong ?,and also I have been using indeed and kijiji to search for jobs are there any other sites I should be using?.
I don't expect this to be easy just looking for pointers to help, thanks in advance for any help you can offer,oh and it's in construction I am looking as I am a bricklayer.

Have a read of the wiki articles: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Catego...Hunting-Canada and http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Quick_...uctions-Canada

Look at the jobs section on BE: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=160 and http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=137

Have you thought of applying under the Federal Skilled Worker (Trades) Program?
