Default Timescales

Hi All, My husband, myself and our 3 boys are in the process of emigrating to Canada. I was just wandering what the average waiting time from start to finish has been for you all. Our application starting being processed in May 2005 and our Representative told us that on our letter of acknowledgment we were told not to expect to hear from them for at least 24 months which means that the process should not take any longer than the 24 months. Does anyone have anything they can add. My husband is applying under the skilled workers and is currently a maintenance electrician working for Glaxosmithkline. We are fed up with life in the UK and just want to get there. If anyone can give us any sort of feedback we would really appreciate it. Sorry if I've waffled on this is the first time I've done this

Welcome.....my 1st job was with GSK....

This one is the lifestyle forum, where you can ask all sorts of things, or just talk nonsense in The Maple Leaf.

You will receive more information about timelines by posting your question on the immigration or using the search function.

No, it means it might take at least 24 months till you get medical requests

Try www.yogi799.com for current timelines. Remember not all of those reported are for skilled worker, spousal is a faster process.

Dont hold your breath..36months, maybe longer?
