Default Timescale for rejection?

I have my file no from the CIC. If they decide I have'nt enough points won't I hear from them very quickly?. Can they decide on your points by simply reading your application?

You will know something fast (within 2 to 7+ months) only if you don't meet
regulatory pre-requisites (at least 1 year of full time skilled work experience and
settlement funds) - in such case application is rejected without further processing.
If you meet those pre-requisites and application is accepted for processing then you
will get the decision (negative or positive) after the entire selection process is
completed.

If the visa office requires an interview in order to determine your eligibility, then
the application process will not necessarily be quick, even for a case that is
refused. If an application is refused without a selection interview, however,
conclusion of the case would generally occur shortly after the AOR.

Hi Jap

We have been rejected on two different occasions from London and each time it has come within 3 months, it looks like we are BOTH on the next stage as I reapplied just before
you. I hope this helps
Good luck

Hi April
Where in Canada are you hoping to live?
Why are you so determined to live in Canada?

Hi Jap
I have all my relations living in BC and lived there as a kid for a while, have spent most of my life wanting to return.
Unfortunatly as with most innercity educations I failed to give myself a good education and only in the last 5 years i have had the oppprtunity to make my dream come true and try to get back to Canada.
Unfortunatly we chose an immigration company 4 corners to help us but screwed up big time putting us in for the wrong applications ect and left us with a big gap in our funds and a wasted 3 years.
If this application is unsucessfull my huspband is going to take nurse training to give us a better chance in the future.

I see you are going to calgary no offence but its a place we just like to "pass through" although we havnt spent much time there.

Best wishes
