Hello.
I'm from Scotland but I currently live in Amsterdam, the netherlands. As a resident of holland, the canadian immigration processing centre which applies to me is the one in Berlin.
I sent my application on February 5th this year.
I was wondering if anyone else has applied via the Berlin embassy, and could they advise me on the likely timeline.
I've applied as a single man, with no dependants, on the independant immigrant category.

Hi levu!
I got my landing papers via Berlin last year about 5 months after sending out the
application (skilled worker/ IT, Canadian degrees, single, no interview) and I recall
a few other "got it"'s from this group which did not take more than a few months
either ... It seems, in comparison to some other visa posts out there Berlin is
processing independent applicatons fairly quickly!
cheers, Ekim
