Hi
I have Initial Assesment -
Appl sent 10/18/01.
AOR 11/28/01.
Initial Assesment letter Dec 2002 (only Month and Year are visible)
which seems standard that others have posted and says
'We are pleased to inform that we have now completed Initial Assesment of your application and expect to finalize you application in RPC without a personal interview. Please note, however, that while an interview does not appear necessary at this time, the visa officer with carriage of your file will reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.'
Medical information:
Included immigration medical forms and instructions under cover of this letter.
Please do not complete your medicals until 6 months from the date of this letter.
Requested some additional docs to be submitted within 90 days from date of Initial Assesment.:
-Updated Employment letter
-Evidence of funds
- Updated FBI xz ( x2) - wording is strange cannot make out what 'xz' means.
- copy of pay stub.
- copy of W2.
Received information reg Medicals.
There a few questions that are not clear
- When should the medicals be taken? Are they going to give us a go ahead or should we take medicals closer to 6 months from Dec 2002?
- Reg FBI clearance, it is not clear whether it is to be made available for all Family members ( adults)?
- What is the validity of FBI cards? I had my wife's card on Jun and sent before receiving Assesment. Is it valid - on the date they look into it or the date sent?
What is the procedure after Initial Assesment and possible timelines?
Would appreciate comments/suggestions on the above. And share their experiences.
