thoughts for those effected by fires
have just seen on the news that kelowna 250m away from vancouver is threatened with wildfires 
im sure you will join me in saying our thoughts are with the 17,000 people told to evacuate.
especially anyone here, be safe

Kudos go out to the people fighting the fires and assisting the community!
Please know that these fires aren't in Kelowna... they are on the other side of Okanagan Lake in the newly named West Kelowna, the community formerly known as Westbank or Westside. A third fire is on Terrace Mountain above the Fintry area.

one of my friend parents are in the middle. She's been told its getting 'under control'.
