For those who are in their last weeks in the UK...
...and you have a car to sell.
We were really surprised tonight! We had a quote to buy our car from webuyanycar.com we had been told to be prepared to be knocked down in price by at least 20%...but we got there and were offered the full quoted price!! Quite a shock I can tell you, we got more with them than we would have advertised it for privately
Just wanted to share in case anyone else is trying to sell

A cousin of mine while on a BUNAC summer in the Catskills of NY bought an old wreck of a car, and left it at Kennedy Airport on the top deck of the parking garage with the lights on and engine running (after removing the identification codes on it).

Thanks for the heads up Rhodeys. We were wondering what to do with ours
Maybe I should give it a clean first..... it's looking a bit like a skip at the moment

Just wanted to say thanks for this info. I just filled in the details for my car (2 mins) and got an immediate quote - only marginally less that I paid for my car a year ago! I will definitely use them, seems like all of the money, none of the hassle!

selling our car turned out to be the worst headache. It was a huge volvo estate thing which was beautiful but lost loads of money in depreciation. We were using it right up to the last few weeks, couldn't shift it anyways. Tried Autotrader (weirdos calling from Nigeria!) and local rag, friends dealership and in the end some 4 months after we landed in Canada I sold (second try) on ebay.co.uk at about 1800 pounds below asking price. Only now just finished off last car loan payment!!! Sickening but life, hey ho, cars a waste of money:curse:
