Question Thomas Cook Flights & cat??

Hi,

Am moving out to Vancouver permantley (at last) in August & am checking out some flights, have found some reasonable ones on Canadian Affair with Thomas Cook & My Travel, but does anyone know if they take cats? Am stuck at work with boss watching me like a hawk so can't ring them!!! Any help and/or advice would be great.

Thanks
Tamsin

Click on the "Search this Forum" button at the middle top, right hand side of the main forum page and put in cat & flight and search.

It's been discussed a lot and there are contact numbers and loads of info about bedding/crates, so you can pick up a lot of tips as well.

Don't thikn they carry animals - I've certainly never heard of anyone on herre having used them to transport pets. Try Air Transat - they carry up to 5 animals per flight.

No they don't, but have found a good price for Air Transat (for me anyway!) so will try them, it's either that or strap her to the wing

we just flew our cat from Ottawa to London at a cost close to $1000(nearly 500 pounds). We used Air Canada cargo. You can find them on the web.

Have worked out that if I organise her myself on Air Transat it'll cost me £150 all in as opposed to the £400 I was quoted by Jets4Pets :scared: plus at the other end I collect her with my luggage, where as with the company I'd have to go to the cargo bit & get her there! As am coming on my own that really didn't appeal, at least this way I can be in my new digs with feet up & havin a at a reasonable time!

Thanks for the advice
