Question Thinking of applying

Hi,

I'm looking for help from those of you who have taken the plunge.

I'm thinking of applying, but find the education bit confusing. I have Secondary and A Level qualification and would be trying to go as a Skilled Worker. Unfortunately I get the horrible feeling that A'Levels aren't going to help me make up my points.

Even if they do, am I likely to be successful as my job is an Admin one within Finance, with no qualifications such as Accountancy, etc.

Any idea?

Thanks
Chob

Do you have a degree or trade diploma?

It means you'll score hardly any points for education.

I have a low grade GCSE, but wouldn't stand a chance with any test, so no.

BTW I've only just read the posting guidlines, so apologies for the immigration related question.

Hiya - have you checked out the Canadian immigration website where you can self assess your points? Usually it gives an idea of how many points you can gain for amount of schooling you did and to what level. The link is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/assess/index.html

Sorry if you already knew the link above! Also, don't worry about posting immigration type questions here. I'd only just realised there was an immigration question page so posted my stuff on here as well!!
