Is there any etiquette around Karma Receiving?

Is there any etiquette around Karma Receiving?
I have given Karma out regulary, mainly for good advice or posts that really make me laugh. I don't have a problem with giving, it is the receiving of Karma that troubles me.
People award me karma, and say nice things. Then I am in a quandry and I dither over should I sent them a thank you note or just be aloof and modestly take the compliment without any response.
What do you all do?

It gets a bit silly if you respond to every piece of karma that you get. I just accept it as scant recompense for my wit and sparkling repartee!

Re: Is there any etiquette around Karma Receiving?
This is covered in the Wiki article called Karma.
There also was a recent thread entitled Karma Etiquette.

Another coincidence - twilight zone music playing in the background again? This is getting way too spooky.

Re: Is there any etiquette around Karma Receiving?
Just remember the person and karma them when they deserve it, that's all I do. I wouldn't PM unless it was a "chatty" karma and I wanted to respond.
