This is it then! Bye UK!!!
Well Folks this is it then!
The movers arrive tommorrow, they will finish up on friday. We are all off to a hotel at Gatwick to spend friday night. Then its off to the airport early saturday for our flights to Toronto and our new life!
We are headed for Windsor Ontario and are staying with friends for a couple of weeks whilst we find a house. We are working with a wonderfull real estate agent there.
So it looks like the next time I post here I will be a Canadian Permenant Resident!!!

Good luck with the move. I've been in Windsor for 10 months now, Im getting married to my Canadian fiance next week. Whereabouts in Windsor are you looking to live? Its not as bad a place as many people on this forum make it out to be!

Not sure where to start - are you getting stuff shipped over by sea?
Any advice gratefully received and yes please let us know your experiences after landing and what your job prospects are like as this is the part worrying me the most.
