I am a newbie to this site and only posted my first post last week, since then I have spent some time trawling the site and reading old posts and slowly gathering more information. I just wanted to say thank you for the wealth of information that is on here and the generosity of members in sharing their experiences and knowledge.
Whilst I have noticed that a number of threads have a tendency to go off on a tangent and there is definitely some banter banded around, this is exactly the same as you would find down the local pub (just like a real community).
Thanks once again and I am sure I will be posting more questions as I continue on the road to hopefully eventually arriving in Canada.

Glad it's helped, and welcome again.

YW Sharon.
The reason that there is a lot of banter is because throughout the years people who were once new, have done and dusted the immigration process a long time ago, and as processes change there isn't anything that we as a rule can add to new questions.
But we hang around because we've gotten to know each other (virtually and physically!)
So don't be afraid of the banter there is a wealth of information to be had for free at your fingertips and people are only too glad to pay it forward x

Thanks Mandymoochops there is certainly a wealth of information on here and hopefully by asking questions and reading all the previous threads I will avoid any major catastrophes.
Everyone certainly seems very friendly and supportive so I am sure I will be posting many more questions.

Just dont take it personally if someone gets grumpy or difficult. Its hard to do at times, but the info on here is worth it
